Alex Jackson-Hughes

Diploma in Law – University of Law, Birmingham.
Alex has over 18 years of experience in Architectural Practice in the UK. She was part of the project team for the One Terminal Project at Birmingham Airport and has delivered high end commercial fit outs for Birmingham City University and North-East Worcestershire College managing complex briefs with numerous stakeholders.
Critical roles include project lead on a brownfield development for social housing in Cheltenham using Lifetime Homes and Housing Quality Indicators to assess the future sustainability of each dwelling. Alex set up AM Workshop 6 years ago with the aim of encouraging a strong focus on detailed design and bringing practical experience of construction to clients.

Mary Gaskell

BArch Architecture (RIBA part II) / BA (Hons) Architecture (RIBA part I) – University of Liverpool
Mary has been a chartered architect since 2009 and has a broad range of experience in many different sectors ranging from small domestic projects to large commercial buildings with complex sequencing and phasing. She has worked in several design led practices in London and the West Midlands gaining a wealth of experience.
Completed projects include works to Listed Buildings, an International Ferry Terminal and an RIBA award winning arts faculty building at the University of Plymouth. More recently Mary has been involved in designing and overseeing the construction of design led one off homes in Warwickshire before joining Alex to form AM Workshop.
